Log house Production

Log house production hall In its initial phase, this process takes place at our plant. Due to being protected against climatic effects, it is an ideal environment for the preliminary assembly of your log house.

Once the investor and the designers agree on the ground plan of the log house, the final project is drawn up along with a study of the log house and its visualization. The documents are subsequently sent to the production plant. The plant personnel select suitable trees directly in the woods. The handpicked trees are felled and transported to the production line where their bark is removed manually.
Production hall Afterwards, the trunks are processed into individual log house components and immediately assembled. Many experienced carpenters and other specialists are involved in the construction of the log house. If the height of the structure does not exceed the height of the production line, the log house is manufactured en bloc. With multiple floor structures, the assembly of the second floor along with the roofing construction (depending on the house design) takes place only after the first floor has been erected and disassembled.

Photo documentation of all key joints, as well as of other important connections and details is then sent for approval to the site manager and the investor. After the house assembly carpenter at work is approved, the structure may be taken apart. Where the lower and upper floor of the house is assembled separately, this process is repeated with each segment. Finally, the quality of the material and the correct processing of the house kit are certified by the signature of the assembly team manager.

The investor may watch the progress of the trial assembly of the log house by means of a web camera. This allows him or her to keep track of the manner and speed of construction. Log house transportation While the house is being completed at the plant, Monivet standardly offers an option to its clients to visit the production line where they approve the disassembly of the final components and receive a model of their log house. Transportation and accommodation are arranged by the company. When the house is assembled, the individual logs and elements are numbered and their exact position is recorded in tables according to which the log house is subsequently erected on the construction site.
