The log house was designed and built according to the client's requirements as a weekend house for year-round use. It is situated on a woody plot in the recreational area of the village of Rymáně. Work on the project began in October 2009. The house was manufactured within one month and subsequently transported from the plant to a trans-shipment site in Mníšek pod Brdy. From there, the individual components were delivered to the construction site. The house was assembled in 10 days and in January 2010, it was prepared for impregnation and finishing work.

Once again, the house was constructed from pine with the use of the Norwegian technology.

The floor area of the bungalow is 97 square metres and the total price for its turnkey construction was CZK 1,900,000, including the foundation slab, the construction of which was quite challenging since the surrounding terrain provided minimum space for manipulation. Prior to the commencement of the construction work, an old cabin standing on the construction had to be torn down and all necessary permits and approvals from the competent authorities had to be secured. We managed to achieve all that, including the construction itself, within 4 months from the filing of all applications. The completion date of the turnkey construction was scheduled within 6 or 7 months. As the house is relatively small, the individual components were adjusted in a manner that would allow to minimize the necessary technological interruption and to put the house into use as soon as possible. The house is equipped with floor heating and a 6 kW air-to-water heat pump.
